Concerted Action and Harmonious Effect

An action performed may be individualistic or concerted as the situations warrant.  So far as the individualistic action is concerned he or she will have to bear the results of the same.  But when an action becomes concerted such action calls for a different approach.  An action may be a concerted one and it is said to arise from different angles.  They may be:
(i)  Action by a group of persons and all such persons act in unison - in the context of contributing welfare measures
ii)  Action of the mind and the body - in the context of group singing or chanting hymns etc.
(iii)  Action performed by two minds acting in combination - in the context of creating a social relationship
(iv)  Action by a mentor to raise the level of the intellect of his disciple - in the context of education.
The above instances are only a sample and the list to perform concerted actions are not exhaustive.  But, what this precept envisages is union of minds/actions so that that concerted action would be resulting in harmony - meaning negation of future conflicts to the best possible extent and deriving maximum satisfaction..
An action is said to be harmonious in nature if that action brings forth satisfaction and happiness at the end of such action.  It is only towards this end, everyone strives in his/her daily walk of life irrespective of caste, creed, color and sex.  But what may/should remain at the end of the day is not forethought in the start of the day, as a result harmony or harmonious relationship do not set in.  This end may be avoided if the aphorism ' As we sow, so we reap ' is put in one's mental stream when the day starts viz., when SATTVICK GUNA is at its peak.  If not, at least, introspection may be made at the end of the day to avoid negative recurrences of the previous day in the days to come.
An action of men, when concerted is also required to create harmony in life, which would only avoid conflicts and bring forth maximum happiness to maximum numbers. - This being the goal for a person blessed to be born as a human being...
