READINESS TO ACCEPT THE PRESENT LOSS

In legal parlance the concept of 'Damages' play a significant role conveying the idea that a Civil Court of Law could only redress a wrong occasioned to a person by awarding damages to the person who suffered the loss at the instance of another.  Infact, besides Damages, other remedies are also available in special statutes applicable to the case.  However, the general remedy of Damages is generally resorted to , the rationale of it being that a wrong done to a person is to be off-set to the extent to which money could do and this remains to be a salutory principle.                                                                                                                        .                     ' Damages' belong to yte class of remedies in relation to a loss sustained by a person.  Loss may be a present loss or a loss occasioning in future.  The present loss points out an immediate or instant loss experienced while loss in future represents that loss which may occasion later.  The present loss, being experieced is to be faced and accepted with foresight instead of facing a greater degree of loss consequent to non-acceptance based on untenable and illogical conclusions.  Many disputes or differences would best be avoided or resolved if this approach to accept the present loss is adopted.  But, in practice, this attitude of preparedness and readiness to accept the present loss is not adopted with the required wisdom that it would be worth the bargain and  at the same time prevent the relationship becoming sour and strained further and  further.
Non-acceptance of the present loss, which is visible and experienced right at the moment    . would only highlight the presence of egoism, as the term ego only signifies EJECTION OF GOOD OUT of the minds of a person on account of visualing a mirage - a non-existent one.  It is, therefore, fit and proper to accept what is visibly and instantly experienced rather than face a great amount of loss and suffer to a great degree later.  Even when Damages are awarded by a Court of Law, the principle of 'compensatory' outlook is only pursued and sometimes this outlook may not provide equivalent and satisfying result in the sense in which the sufferer may desire, since much water would have flowed down under the bridge by that time  Hence, readiness to accept the present loss may be developed as a quality to be pusued.

LIMITATIONS AND ACTIONS

All humans born in this world shape their life depending on the pedigree to which they belong, besides the environs to which they get exposed.  It is only in this manner every person goes through in his life cycle, from infant to old age.  During all these phases of life every person acquires many traits which speak about his character and identity.
The birth and the life cycle of a person calls for actions from that person depending on age, stature, learnings, aptitude towards select activities and so on.  Although till the adulthood actions made in any mannner may be tolerated and accepted, the same treatment may not be meted out to the actions performed during adulthood. and thereafter.  The reason for this approach is that,  on becoming an adult,  a person is expected to understand the rationale of his actions.  Therefore, if any action performed  in the phase of the adulthood goes beyond the limits, the said action may be found wanting or excess in some respect or other.
Limits or limitations with referece to an action partake the nature of a restraint or condition or shortcoming.  Every person, in the course of performing an activity,  would be engulfed by or all of these facets stated.   Before embarking on an action every person should bear in mind that the various facets with their attendants would come into being not because he likes the same but operate in himself,  being born as an individual.  As such, every person while conceiving an idea,  should think of its limitations and the limitations set in himself and then only proceed to transalate them into action.  If this principle is not adhered to, the performance is bound to hurt the feelings of others, which should be avoided. It may be remembered by every person  that once liberty does not end where the other man's nose begins.  . .

PROPAGATION OF KNOWLEDGE

"Knowledge comes from all sides " says Rig Veda>  In general parlance,  knowledge refers to the ideas possessed by a person .  The ideas so possessed do not dawn overnight, but is only a result of acquisition of the same over a period of time.  Further, the ideas acquired must have been developed further depending on the extent to which a person has honed his skills from time to time.  It is everyone's desire to acquire knowledge on all fronts and to what extent he had exposure and succeded would depend on his efforts.
Acquisition of knowledge, though remain as one's desire, is always subjected to one's inquisitiveness towards a particular discipline of study or activity as no single person can claim to be a master in all trades, leave alone the fact that  it is also an impossibility.  Infact, in the matter of doing any act there exists on every person a desire which is inbuilt with limitations.  It is only due to this inherent feature various specialists/experts become available in various fields of activity
Acquisition of knowledge is, therefore not the monopoly of any single individual and hence all persons have a right to get educated and imbibe knowledge according to their aptitude.  But knowledge acquired by a person, though utilised for his benefit, is not to be expected to be kept to himself but intended to be spread and explained to others when situations warrant, as otherwise knowledge acquired becomes meaningless.  It is only this idea that has been conveyed by Saint Thiruvalluvar in his 650th couplet stating 'THOSE WHO ARE NOT CAPABLE OF EXPLAINING TO OTHERS WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNT ARE LIKE A CLUSTER OF FLOWERS WHICH, THOUGH FULLY BLOWN, HAVE NO FRAGRANCE."  Propagation of knowledge must, therefore, be adopted as a precept by a person possessing knowledge.                                          .                        .

ADHERENCE TO DOCTRINNAIRE APPROACH

I have been initiated  to pen blogs by my son, who in his thirties, using his acumen and latest technology started his blog writing practice before me.  The impetus given by him was well received by me resulting in this 50th blog in a span of 10 months time.  I am sure that this practice set in me, thanks to my son, would enable me to contemplate further and further to roll out more blogs.in the days to come.

Thanks to the stimulus received, I have expressed my musings and I look back with consternation how the thoughts conceived were able to be transalated into action.  One reason that compels me to keep pace with this momentum is that long established principles and practices, preached and practised by our elders, continue to hold sway even in these days when the world has shrunk into media box..

Precepta and practices, relate to basic concepts and canons promulgated in relation to various disciplines of study and actions related thereto, has to be practised in view if its permanent values.  Such value added concepts become doctrines driving a person to think that it is best to adhere to those doctrines rather making a roving search for thoughts.  Any act done based on a doctrine set will not only hold good for that point of time but also for all future times, notwithstanding changes that may take place.  Even while doing research study on any subject a doctrinnaire approach is advocated as that approach will enable advanced research in the same study.  This doctrainnaire approach compared with Empirical research, stands on a higher permanent pedestal while Empirical Research would only last over a given period of time.  Infact Hindu scriptures or Bible or Quaran  convey only doctrines which have been conceived after deep deliberations holding good even till this day..  It would, therefore, fit and proper  to adhere to the precepts and practices evolved over a period of time and being made accessible at the click of the mouse.

IMPEDIMENTS AND PROGESS

Right from dawn to dusk every man is encountered with various activities in relation to his style of living, his approaches towards the objective to be acheved and towards other persons whom he may come across and last but not least his mind set to carry out the chosen activities.  The activities that may be required to be carried out may range from doing a simple and easy job to complete a big and complex business deal.  Therefore, there will be variances in the activities of various persons depending on the nature of business or profession or avocation of one's choice.
Performance of activities are intended to result in progress of the activities, much less to say completion of thesame, as it would be the wishful thinking of all prudent persons.  As no man desires to get an abortive result he would put in his head and heart in the activities performed by him.  This attitudinal approach is not only laudable but also a welcome one.
The performer, although  may make good approaches with foresight it should not be forgotten by him that impediments partaking the nature of an obstruction or hindrance or obstacle or difficulty or barrier may be confronted by him which he might not have envisaged.  At this juncture, with the objective steadfastly held in mind, he should not lose hope, vigour and courage and instead drive unto himself a force of challenge to attain the objective, although in a belated manner.  This attitude is to be cultivated since at these times of  arisal of impediments a person would be tempted to leave the task unfinished.  This tendency should not be developed as it is not a good augury for progress, though in exceptional cases the project itself should be shelved.  Impediments are antithesis for progress and hence ingenuity and God strength are to be required to complete the performance of an activity.

CONTROL OF SITUATIONS.

Situations, place wise or time wise, do arise as a result of interaction between any two or more persons or among group/s of persons to fulfiul an objective.  The authors for these situations are no others than the person/s or group/s and this act of interaction cannot be avoided if the given objective is to be fulfilled.  In other words, the authors referred here are but the architects of the situation/s and what they build constructively or otherwise would always depend on their outlook, consistency in approach made, a foresight atleast to a certain extent, an ardent desire to accomplish the objective and their intention to create sustsainable progress and development.  This aspect holds good for all kinds of actions in all kinds of relationships that my be endeavoured to be created.

.                   Mere situations, though cannot be avoided, will not yield any result unless the said situations are controlled by the authors themselves.  Control, in this context, would refer to the dexterous approaches made, possession of attitudes, adoption of persuasive tactics with reasoning ability and bearing patience snd perseverance qualities by the authors.  Any approach made expressly or iompliedly should not either directly or indirectly hurt the feelings/s of other/s in a group as if such a kind of hurt is caused there would not exist the possibility to fulfil the objective.  Any amount of regrets made later in this regard will not bring back the desired result and much less to say it may even boomerang on the person/s who were responsible for causing the hurt

The subject that is treated here is only intended to drive home the point that control of situations lies only in the hands of authors to become winners or losers in the game.                                                                                                                                                                                                       .

NEED FOR SECURITY

Every person feels that security should exist for him at all places and at all times so that at no point of time he would be exposed to any danger or harm or loss in any manner.  This is an acceptable proposition, by all means, as the degree to which there exists security it would be an index of peaceful existence, satisfying one of the basic  needs of a person.  Moreover, the presence of security would in turn lead to the establishment of a peaceful co-existence among various persons in a given society.
At times a person feels that a sense of insecurity has engulfed him or that he has been exposed to a sense of insecurity.  On all these occasions he would have no other go but to crave for security.  This situation, therefore, calls for attention from others who are otherwise normally placed and at the same breath requiring an analysis of the causes for the insecurity that had raised its heads only to avoid the recurrence later.
Generally, every person is secure in and unto himself if he does not have any enemy in any form.  The enemical status of a person adverted here is to be understood in relation to various activities done by him involving others.  If these activities reveal that an enemical status has come to stay, the others who have become enemies are to be met with and they be taught a lesson if they raise their heads in an unwarrranted manner  For instance,  when a law and order problem arises in a particular place the law enforcers have to act immediately and must endeavour to create a climate of security in that place. This only shows that insecurity, either to a person/s or to a given society would only arise based on certain causes and on certain occasions and hence the same has to be faced with fortitude of mind and courage.  Therefore, if security is already in existence, in anticipation of an insecrity situation that may arise, unless the anticipated one is capable of ascertainment at least to a certain degree as in the case of an impending riot or calamity, no other security can be thought of..  Hence any demand for security for security would be meaningless besides the same is also difficult to be provided to each and every person. . ..

ERADICATION OF SCARS

'A pen is mightier than sword' implies that  what is placed in writing - by express means - will create a higher  degree of impact than a physical injury inflicted with a sword.. This only means that imprints and impressions get formed in mind and as human nature is,  he shall be constrained to refer to or reflect on the said impression either voluntarily or involuntarily in a given situation. This factor, inbuilt in the human system, calls for an analysis of various ways to to erase or much less to say eradicate the scar/s that had found its entry earlier in that being.
An analysis said above, in the first instance, requires an examination of the scar/s that found its way.  This examination will definitely boil down to reveal that the scars had their entry only in the context of a relationship.  Further, such examination would also bring to light how the relationship had been created and how non-maintenance of that relationship had produced a telling effect.  All said and done, whether a scar has arisen out of a physical act  or out of expression of words, scar will remain a scar and initially  erasure of the same followed by its eradication is advocated  and this can be done only over a period of time when saubsequents events occur.  Till such time reverberations of the occurences of scar/s is bound to stay.
Time element, nodubt, is the best panecea for all the ills stated above. But what requires to be done is to take advantagew of the time element to conceive constructive thoughts for a phased eradication of the scar/s. In this regard, if harmonious relationships are desired to be established between two persons - either or the both had beeen inflicted with scar/s on an equal footing or dissimialr footing or one person alone had been affected while the other is not - a special BEAR AND FORBEAR attitude from the side of both the presons will be a fitting panecea.  After all an event of joy is bound to overshadow an event of sorrow and vice versa as this factor of one event  eclipsing the other is inherent in nature.  Hence the precept of rtime element is to be adhered to at all times.

RETURN EXPECTANCY

Any action performed is intended to satisfy himself and at times to satisfy others.  The action done will be in relation to a visit  made to a friend's house or to a  neighbourhood or to participate in a competition or to attend a function and hence the list on these lines is not exhautive.  This only portends that no person can keep himself idle from dawn to dusk and some activity is expected from his side.

Performance of actions,  being necessary in daily life, are variegated in nature in the sense that a person may be a  sole performer or a performer in group depending on the activity pursued.  In all thes circumstances, the activity done could always be received and evaluated by others in their own sphere with their own norms.  By all means, this is an acceptable proposition and no blame need be made out if the performer feels that this is the performance which he has been destined to make at that hour and that has also been carried out by him.  But what should not be thought of  is a return expectancy, either in the same or similar vein done by him  or in any other form from that other.  This non expectancy alone would speak volumes about the  performer and  his performance thus establishing a character for himself in the eyes of others.  At the same time,  if expectancey happens, be it total or partial, the same must also be accepted and treated by the first performer in his own acceptable manner.  If expectancy is belied, the performer must also be prepared to accept that occurance also in its own stride.  It is only when this tendency is  cultivated there is every possibility of the perfiormer standing tall in the social set up and thus establish a separate identity for himself.

GRAVITY OF CONVERSATION

Persons engaged in various activities are to carrry out dialogue, discourse, speech -  all forming part of conversation at various points of time and at various places.  This scenerio cannot be dispensed with and if dispensed with the activity thought of cannot be carried on and if already acommenced in anticipation of conversation the same would come to a stanstil.

As the precept of conversation involves meeting  of two persons or more number of persons their minds, the language, adoption of mannerisms and the effectiveness infused in it, the results desired to be achieved assume significance.  Various techniques/tactics are to be employed by the persons engaged in the coinversation to exhibit their sincerity and purpose towards the end to be resorted to.  If the tactics adopted during coinversation  result in deception to the otherson/s consequences ensuing are to be met with and at that point of time there will be no room left to regret for the conversation earlier made.  No casual conversation or badinage will yield result and it could be termed only as the sports of an idle person who do not desire  any result.  Conversation, therefore, must be mature and gravitational in nature in the sense that seriousness, importance and significance are to be  attached to it especially when relationships are to be created  for sustenance of that relationships.

Many relationships, be it un the form of groups or between two individuals do no not last long time due to differences or disputes creating a telling effect.  It is only at this juncture person/s affected by the effects of their conversation ponder over the cause and to their consternation it is the non follow-up of gravitational conversation that  would be felt by them.

The precept of conversation, therefore, implies and calls for a not only a cautious approach with foresight but also adherence to a certsin degree of gravity and if this approach is  made it would be beneficial for a sustained relationship to emerge.

UNIQUENESS OF MEMORY STATE

Humans in the environment are endowed with an an organ - brain - in their body which registers all the actions performed.  This organ owes its genesis to the womb of the mother and since that time it starts its growth.  But, in certain cases due to various factors an expected normal growth does not happen and as a result congenital disablement sets in.  However, when the organ - brain takes its normal growth a normal person is born.  Eversince  the birth this noirmal person develops and the brain organ develops.  In its growth and functioning it performs a unique and special function of registering what are all seen, heard, read and understood in the phase of the normal life of that person.  Thisa special function is called as memory whcih takes the synonym of recollection, retrospection and reminiscence.

Memory, being related to the brain activity, is essential as  every person has to persom actions commensurate to what has been seen, heard, read and understood by him, thus establishing his identity.  If a person holds fast and retains in his memory all his actions he is said to possess a tenacious memory.  Memory being associated with the brain organ and that being ingrained in  the human body, the state of memory is capable of depleting its power of retention when a person grows old.  This is a natural phenomenon and a feature of senility is attributed and  to beaccepted as a fact.

When the above phenomenon happens in the old age,  a person forgets about what is seen, heard, read and understood in years before the old age and hence  a question arises whether this tendency is to be encouraged or not.  Normally this tendency should not be encouraged and remedial measures  are to be soiught.to overcome the same for good to happen to that person.  But, at the same time it would befitting if a person forgets that what are all seen, heard, read and understood by him are matters which are not worthy of retention as both functions of retention and loss of retention are performed by that portion of memory in the brain structure.  If this behavioural pattern is adopted all humans would get protection from physiological nd psychological disturbances and this state of cleanliness would enure a enjoyable life. .  .

TREATMENT OF THE RESULTS

The theory of cause and effect applies on all fronts of activity and the effects yielded are to be taken as 'the results' originated out of that  activity.  Result/s obtained may be expected and palatable or may not be expected but palatableor may be partially acceptable and partially not or may not be totally relishable at all to the performer of the activity.  If ecpected results flow joy of the performer knows no bounds and at the same time when the results are otherwise either a total sorrow sets in or it may give you mixture of joys and sorrows.   In theis contex the treatment of the effects arising out of the activity. referred assume significance.

The above phenomenon of  positive and negative results occassioning is only attributable to the theory of cause and effect..  It may be underlined here that in  the absence of cause there will be no effect.  The cause/s for an action are only designed by the person using his wisdom and the effect that follows must be taken by him in its stride.  Whether joy or sorrow arises out of an action  the same must be given a degree of equanimity as it is only then the room for introspection would arise in the case of a negative result.  On the other hand casting a blame on another for the negative results will not yield any tangible resut to move forward.  Introspection may also be made when joy occasions so that what comes out of introspection                     may help a person to innovate and further improve his action.  Everyone strives in his life forgetting that the theory of cause and effect is a cyclic phenomenon associated with any activity.  Therefore the statement that is made viz.,rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer should not be literally comprehended though in certain cases they do hasppen.

Hence what is to be borne in mind is that every activity involves the theory of cause and effect and an act should not be done withoiut a valid cause and if done the result would be abortive in nature. .  . .

ANALYSIS OF MERITS AND DEMERITS

Omnipotence has ordained in all humans a unique discretionary faculty, although present in varying degrees in various persons, to analyse the merits and demerits of any case or situation before arriving at a final decision lest any difficult position emerge later.  But analysis of any fact or situation or a case or a  circumstance is no less a difficult task for the decision maker. What is required for an analysis is the requirement of a parameter in consonance with the subject-matter and other related matters to be analysed.

In Judiciary, before pronouncing a decision Judges consider the facts,  the related evidence submitted by the parties and the principle of Law to be applied.  In the field of medicine, doctors consider the history of the patient, his family background, cause/ for the ailment, apply the diagnostic tools and arrive at a decision before starting the treatment...  Likewise every professionsal or any other person has to apply some parameter or other before arriving at a decision.  Though it may be facile for a professional to apply the parameter readily available from various sources, it becomes a difficult task to make an analysis in the context of creation of a social relationship which may last the life time of the persons entering the relationship.  All said and done, parameters like the family pedigree, the character built by the persons from their homes, school and the outlooks developed in later adoloscent and adult stages of life, the modes of approaches to various problems in various situations, consistency in the said approaches and the moral calibre of the persons may be considered as  the parameters for an analysis of the merits and demerits before the creation of such social relationship.  As a follow-up,  'weighing the probabilities' should be done which will give an indication as to the lasting relationship,

It may be emphasised here that the relationship created should not remain to be a mere relationship but leading to companionship for the rest of the lifetime.       .

TRANSFORMATION PHENEMONON

Transformation - change of state - is universal in nature and it occurs in all biotic and  abiotic bodies and such occurrances are part and parcel of their existence.  Biotic bodies cover humans, flora and fauns while abiotic bodies refer to metals, minerals and chemicals and the like.  It is only the modes of occurrances in these bodie4s that undergo variations, such variations being a sine quo nom, underlying the factor that  in the universe transformastion of these bodies are schematic and such schemes are to be accepted, adopted and adapted

Transformation in a biotic body happens naturally while in abiotic bodies it may occur naturally or when such bodies are treated.  Humans, flora and fauna undergo change of state natutally as every day passes, with the. peculiarity that humans, with their sixth faculty, comprehend the transformation in relation to their mental state, which give them joys and sorrows..This means that this alternate forms of results are bound to happen as there is no uninterrupted joy or uninterrupted sorrows. This being the fact of life, humans with their outlook are not gearing up themselves to accept this fact of life.  As far as flora and fauna are concerned they are also subjected to transformation like that of humans with the basic difference that discretionary facukty being absent in them there is no complaint from their quarters to be attended to.  Minerals, metals and chemicals existing also undergo change of state when they are treated by humans in their endeavour or when not treated change taking place in them according to the laws of nsture based on their iintrinsic qualities..

The above treatment of transformation phenomenon only points out that change from one state toanother is inevitable and the humans in the environment, who are also the custodians of flora and fauna, are expected to be prepared to accept, adopt and adapt the changing scenerio using their discretionary faculty in a befitting manner for the common good of all..

COMMISSIO9NS AND OMISSIONS

TO BE OR NOT TO BE or TO DO OR  NOT TO DO are phrases used in a philosophical sense especially when a person is deliberating on a project or a ventrue or to arive at a decision and the ways and means to accomplish that project or to become succesful in the venture or to reach an unmistakable decision.  Though these utterances may be pleasing to the maker, the listner or the recipient would have to treat these statements in the environs that compelled him to deliberate about the project or venture or the factors to be considered for arriving at decision. This only means that any activity would inovlove commissions and omissions in one way or the other.  In general parlance, the precept of Commission cannotes doing of an act in a positive manner and in the positive sense while Ommisssion refers to the absence of doing an act to avoid the result which  is in his thoughtsa.  Though these are the general attributes of the phrase used, in reality and in practice at times commission of an act is necessary to produce a negztive result while ommisssion is equally necessary to create a positive result.  Numerous instances exist on this score whern one';s life activities are scannned through.  Thus commissions and omissions done by a person cannot said  to be static always in the context of the results but only dependent on the environs in which thedoer of theact is placed and the circumstaces that enabled him to deliberate on the lines dawned on him.  It is, therefore, incumbent on the recipient of a statement to think aloud about the philosophical phrases referred..  However the underlying rationale of these phrases should not be undermined as  these phrases  carry the semantics that a person should not be indecisive when he is called upon to perform an act  and as such indecisuveness will not enable  a person to move forward to make a judicious decision.  All said and done, one does an act hoping against hope while taking a decision based on belief  and such belief is nothing but trut and truth alone held in mind..

COPING UP WITH SOLITUDE PROBLEMS

Every human being is born as an  individual and so also the animals.  Even if twins are born they are also born individual wise with separation of  seconds or minutes.  So every person is "solo" by himself or herself at birth. Dependency factor for  birth is not referred to here since the dependent factor called a "parent" is required for a birth.  An endeavor is made to highlight, how a "solo" being , when driven to a solitude stay, in the context of growing up in life, feels or enjoys or suffers in his stay aforesaid.

Although born 'sole' ,every person belongs to a family, family being a relative group/s forming the society at large.  Thus a person born as a 'sole' being has to form part of a family, the relative group and the society at large since existence at the time of birth alone cannot contribute to  the growth of that person.  It, therefore, becomes a norm for a person to be in the family, the relative group and in the society at large at different times for different purposes.  In the course of this phenomenon a person may be compelled to stay in solitude being away from the family, the relative group, or the society at large.  At these times, this person having been an  attached entity earlier, would be constrained to entertain feelings - of happiness or isolation or a mixture of  both.  This state of the person, though a compelling factor, gives him lot of time to do introspection on various fronts and which he must do as a precept to be followed.  It is only then the solitude stay may be met with strength and valour.  If happiness in solitude is made to cross the moral ethics dangers are bound to be met with.  On the other hand, if the stay in solitude is given importance that attitude itself would result in injury - both in terms of physiology and psychology.  Therefore, every person must create a mind set to defeat the problem of boredom, by engaging  himself in a manner acceptable to him and acceptable by the laws of life and it is towards this end one must strive.  If this attitude is developed solitude stay may turn out to be a pleasant stay.since dawn to dusk variations of stay in life emerge.  All said and done 'solo' being is to shed his mortal coil in a 'solo manner.

DESIRE AND EXECUTION

Desire, as a precept and execution as a procedural follow-up are to be blended appropriately with reference to conception and translating them into action.  Surely, many impediments  - if one wishes to say so - may crop up and such hurdles may act as a preventive cause.  This aspect should not deter a person from marching ahead towards the activity chosen.

Desire is a mental faculty and it is impelled by Karma Indiriyams to do an act.  Since every action is presupposed towards an object to be achieved and that object being the goal to be attained in response to desire relentless efforts, cautious in all respects, are said to be made   I t is only through the Gnana Indiriyams - mental faculty , object can be achieved with utmost satisfaction.  The underlying factor in regard to achievement of an object is not to attain mere happiness but satisfaction as the latter implies happiness.

Having desired to do an act, as a principle ways and means to execute the desire in a most acceptable manner are to be thought of.  Desire as a  thought process.must lead in turn to  create procedural process..  These two processes must, therefore, be blended towards the  direction of fulfillment of desires conceived initially with a view to ending with the level of satisfaction.  No doubt, impediments blocking the way should also be attended to.

Thus desire as a precept and execution as a procedure remain at the substratum of an activity..

OPTIMAL EXERCISE

Exercise, in general, is exertion to do an act with reference to a given objective leading to the attainment of a set goal.  This precept is applicable to all activities and in particular to special exercises that   are to be made in relation to special activities.  To carry out an activity means that it implicitly requires a skill - be it manual or skilled one - and however it may be called,, it boils down to efforts being put in by a person.  It is only with the use of skills every person endeavors to do an activity to eke out his likelihood.  In this regard, the exercise done by the person doing the  activity and the person for whose benefit the activity  - both assume significance   The question now arises is as to what extent the exercise can be stretched by the   doer of the activity?  The answer is obvious in the sense that the doer must put in  optimum effort and produce optimum result  Once optimization is exercised and the result is produced, the  doer's skill is to be appreciated and rewarded, these  two terms to be understood in the context of a prudent person.  Instead, if the optimized doer is compelled to put in extra labor to do the activity of  others which he may also know, it may turn out to be a Performance punishment for him and the doer may even go to the extent of desisting from putting optimized effort in his regular work and further this extra work of  others may even sap his energy level.  Apart from this the 'other' who is expected to put in his optimized effort in his assigned work may not develop an interest even to learn or to complete his work and he is bound to adopt a 'go gay' attitude.  This attitudinal aspect on the part of the 'other' should not be encouraged   It is, therefore, fit and proper to call upon every person to do optimum exercise in his activity and make himself an indispensable person.and the performance made at the optimum level is apreciated and rewarded.

ATTITUDINAL ASPECTS - SPEAKER VS RECIPIENT

" Silence is golden'; ' Silence  may sometimes amount to speech'.  These aphorisms used to be very often thought of by me since persons speak to convey a message and recipients are abound in plenty to receive the message.  Against this background I used to attend to the attitudinal aspects of the Speaker (the term including the presenter of a statement) and the recipient ( the term including all  kinds of persons available in all media) as well to enable  comprehension of that message/statement.

Speakers, solicited and unsolicited at times, speak out messages on a subject which concerns them or has reached them either from a primary source or secondary source.  Recipients of this message take it in their own strain, not caring to know the source relied on by the speaker and in turn attempts to convey this message with strings attached or unattached.  This modus operandi inheres in every person in spite of the application of the aphorisms even in this day.  In this context the appreciation of the message is to be thought of by the speaker as well as by the recipient.  A speaker, in the first instance, should be guarded before making a statement and to be guarded to the highest degree of caveat if the  statement concerns him.  Whatever may be the nature of the statement the speaker should ponder for a moment that this statement will be comprehended by others in relation to the attitude possessed by the speaker.  This inference holds good even when the recipient in turn endeavors to become a speaker.  After all when a message is spoken it is conveyed and communication results in.  Since every communication will remain a cause for the effect that will ensue, the speaker as well as the recipients should be concerned with their attitude prior to the making of a statement or receiving a statement.  It is but sure that if this attitudinal aspect is thought of minimization of the startling results is a possibility and this must remain to be a fundamental precept in all..

Cessation of Dependency

Associated with every person and action dependency exists and the cause of existence of this factor and the nature of the results produced out of this require an analyzable deliberation.  When this factor exists, questions as to why dependency exists, how it prevails, what would be the duration of its continuance, when and how it would cease etc require examination.  Existence of dependency is said to be based on a relationship and the nature of that relationship.  The prevalence of dependency cannot be discarded since the persons and actions coupled together require the same for achieving an object or reaching a goal.  The duration of dependency will always revolve around on certain other factors like completion of an assignment on hand or acquisition of knowledge from a source or expiry of prescribed time or termination of relationship and consequently the closure of the contemplated event itself.  Results arising to a person based on action alone would only show the real gamut of dependency.  All said and done, dependency should not  be taken to be a permanent factor since this factor itself presupposes that it would only be a scaffolding holding a structure for a given point of time and that thereafter the structure has to stand by itself free from a prop.  Taking this into account every person in every walk of life should not endeavor to place total reliance on this factor of dependency for all times to come.  In fact cessation of dependency  would determine the potentiality and capability of an individual and as well his actions and this would in turn play a pivotal role in the matter of establishment of an unique identity.  It should not be forgotten that where there is a beginning there will be an end..

Verbal action and Express action

Every person performs some action or other with a view to translating  his thoughts.  While doing so, an instrument is resorted to and more often persons would take recourse to either verbal action or express action. Possibility of verbal action exists when two persons face each other and express action would be the chosen mode when persons are separated by distance or when considering the nature of action and  essentially of the result arising from such action  requiring a  proof  for  such action   While verbal  action would encompass oral statements  express action calls for matters to be in writing and  a medium may be chosen for communicating therefor say by post, courier, or e-mail etc. Though the actions may differ in the manner of execution what would remain at the substratum  would be the language and the words used to exhibit that action.  Language and words used in action would, therefore, reflect the mind set of the author of the action. Responses that may be received to such an action may be soothing at sometimes and and only uncomfortable at many times.  In the world arena sympathizers may be many or few but empathizers are only countable  Whatever may be, words used in actions are to be carefully chosen or else the a respondent would try to take advantage of such words and may even go to the extent of exploiting the author of the action and  manner of the same would come to light only later  Words are gifts given to us and learnt through education only for use at the appropriate time and in an apt manner leaving no room for exploitation by any means.  Every person is governed by his environs in which he lives and such environment may also be cause for the language or words chosen.  It should be borne in mind that when verbal actions or express actions are performed  psychic element comes into play and hence action performers should adopt an approach of restraint as opposed to freedom of using words to exhibit one's inner thoughts or feelings to others.  The precept of time exits for all and the same would provide an answer  for all the thoughts that came to a person's mind....

Empowered Action and Enervative Action

Performance of action by any person stems from the authority to do an act followed by the power to do the said act.  Authority resides in a person by virtue of his status in life and this status being clothed with rights, duties and liabilities.  Power originates from this authority and such exercise of power must be in relation to the said rights, duties and liabilities.  It is only by virtue of good  learning a person grows in his life and at every stage some authority will come to him and consequently the power also.  A person moves from his primary scchool to secondary school level and from the secondary level to the higher secondary level and so on till he reaches his desired level toseek an employment to eke out his livelihood and further continues his eagerness to learn more and more till the end of his life.  During all these stages a person is said to get empowered to do actions and actions accepted by the society based on moral values and public policy meaning positive actions coupled with positive thoughts.  Therefore, empowerment through learning should not become enervative  in nature meaning weakening  the strength of one's mind and courage to face the realities in life..If this nature befalls on a person the object of being born with discretionary faculty is totally lost.  To avoid this nature creeping into the human system and the value of humaneness not being eroded every person while getting empowered in every stage must imbibe the qualities and  values of a good life based on moral values.  After all a good  society. is said to be made up of good number of individuals.

Dependency on a system

A system denotes a plan, scheme, method or arrangement and its existence is essential for the performance of an action by all animate beings.  System, when exists in the administration of a country is called as the political system, when prevails in the human body it takes the name of a human system and so on.  Any system would, therefore, associate itself with the features or actions required through that system.  On an analysis of the systems it may be seen that an underlying factor exists viz., that the system will be a dependent one and that it cannot remain in isolation.  For instance, humans require a human system, animals necessitating their system, plant kingdom taking its own plant system, an office established for an office system, a political party is but essential for a political system, a religious denomination becomes a must for propagation of its religious precepts and principles, a social fabric in a given discipline say music remain to be a must fir its systematic function and likewise the list is endless.  What is implicit and present in all the systems is a factor of dependency and this cannot be ruled out.  Mere presence of a dependent factor and a system associated with it will be meaningless unless what the dependent factor requires is supplied by that system.  Further more what is furnished by the system and the manner in which it is furnished also assume significance. Absence of a dependent factor do not require a system but the malfunctioning or dysfunctional of the system would cause concern and time and attention will have to be devoted to it.  On the other hand, presence of a dependent factor calls for systematic activity of the system so as to enable the dependent factor to meet its requirements. and the system  in its course would get associated and get overhauled for its renewed function.  Hence dependency on a system is part and parcel of one's life and what factors are created as dependent factors and what system is  to be devised for it is all left in the hands of the person seeking to meet the various ends in life.

Trustworthy Relation

Relation or relationship, in one way or other, is bound to come into existence as and when advances in all spheres of life take place even though initially relation with the mother who gave birth and consequently with the earth have come into existence earlier.  This phenomenon is bound to occur in every one's life and hence a relation or relationship is not per se bad.  Therefore, the characteristics of a relation is to be reckoned in the first instance with reference to the personality involved followed by the purpose and longevity of the required relation and further continued by the nature of the action and the results that may ensue.  Relation required in these directions call for and necessitate interaction and mutual understanding between any two persons or groups or societies.  Efficacy of a relation should, therefore, be measured in terms of the trust, reliance, faith and credit worthiness lest the relation results in mistrust and treachery and the action becoming deceitful or dubious, all in their own wake bring forth a different unexpected result.  Objectiveness of creating any relation or relationship is to reach the pinnacle its echelons and as a consequence there must come into existence an element of trustworthiness between/among the relations cited.  Moreover, in the course of relationship at work a person possessing a know-how must complete his part of the work and until and unless he executes his part of the work the other related person may not be able to proceed or much less to say to complete the work on hand.  Each worker must, therefore, create a trustworthy relationship in the matter of execution of the work in full.  This only emphasizes that the relationship at work must be true as steel so that the faith that is built is continued till the end of the work.  If this attitude is not possessed the relationship would cause sorriness to each other and each person would tend to cast the blame on the other, with no fruitful results.  For a relation or relationship, therefore, to be a  sustained one the expectation is the creation of a trustworthy relationship followed by a trustworthy action.  Any negativity in this regard is not only objectionable but also an unwelcomeone..  .    .

Causation of problems

Humans, flora and fauna are all bound to encounter problems during their existence.  Problems, in general, may be due to natural causes or artificial causes.  Whatever may be the kind of cause, problems partaking the nature of difficulty entails dilemma or obstacle and if it takes the nature of a question it encompasses a query or intricacy or enigma or puzzle, these two facets of problem being only one of variance to humans, flora and fauna
Humans fsce problems in terms of health, social relations in offices while rendering service etc., and in the post retired life also.  Difficulties, when arise during all these periods call for attention.  It is only depending on the degree of attention given to the problem the same gets resolved.  Of all the degrees of attention, attitudinal approach remain in the top order.  Development of rectitude in that regard will provide the exact answer.  Humans, possessing the discretionary faculty., with all ingenuity, can make a decisive approach in this regard.  Flora and Fauna are in the universe for various purposes and they are also subjected to natural decay.  Apart from this natural phenomenon, they are also subjected to decay through artificial causes like environmental pollution - be it water or air,  When these problems arise to them they do not remain as problems to them alone but also for the mankind.  But flora and fauna by themselves cannot attend  to their problems thanks to their nature of creation by the Almighty.  Therefore, only humans alone being their care takers are required to bestow attention to their problems, leaving the fact that they contribute, whatever ordained on them, to the mankind.  Causation of problems, is therefore, one affecting all in various dimensions and hence problems are to be attended to at the right point of time with the right attitude since absence of a problem would itself be a problem.

Response to an action

Every person, man or woman, is independent at all times, dependent at many times and inter-dependent at some times.  In tune with this alignment alone actions also take shape.  As such, when actions are performed and if such actions would have dependent or inter-dependent bearing there is every likelihood of such actions evoking a response from others.  Likewise the initial performer of the actions may also in turn be placed in the position of a respondent.  Thus actions and reply actions, in general, remain a part and parcel of one's life.  This does not mean that  every action calls for a response and even assuming it be so a person may restrain himself from responding for reasons best known to himself and such a restraint should not be mistaken on any account

Response to an action may be immediate or postponed to later point of time.  If an immediate response is to be given, at least a few minutes of forewarn to oneself must be given so that the impact of the response will not bounce back.  What is, therefore, required and to be practiced is that when  a response is given it must be a thoughtful answer.  On the other hand, if the response is postponed to a later point of time there is every possibility for a rehearsal and it would definitely bring immense beneficial results..

Response, as outlined above from its execution point of view, only stresses that the response may be a mere acknowledgment or reply or answer or a rejoinder.  If an acknowledgment through response is made sometimes it will result in acceptance of a liability and hence due care and caution is to be exercised in that regard.  If it would stop with a mere acknowledgment say informing receipt alone of something it may not cause any injury.  If a response would take the form of rejoinder it would amount to resenting to the action of that another and such an action calls for not only a diligent reply but also an exercise of fair play in all dimensions.  In view of the variegated nature of the responses it would be fit and proper if a mental exercise of giving responses is practiced taking into account the various occurrences in one's life.  Thus 'response' remains as a Sword and a Shield in the armory of every person.

Prescription of Desirable Qualifications

For every action qualifications becomes necessary as the capability to render such action gets fixed based on the same.  What qualifications are necessary will depend on the nature of the action to be performed.  Basically'  for every action age will be laid down as a criterion because it is generally known and also accepted by all that age contributes to the growth of the mind and intellect.  In legal parlance, the growth associated with the mind and intellect has been taken for the stipulation of the age of the  majority,  revealing thereby that only a person in COMPOS MENTIS -  mental composition - would be able to form a rationale of an action.  After this criterion gets fixed, other qualifications required are prescribed.  Apart from the educational qualifications required to pursue an activity, prescriptions of' 'Desirable Qualifications' are now set.  This trend only shows that mere possession of educational qualifications may not fit in the need of the Management as they  would always expect a round peg for a round hole and not a  square peg for a round hole.  Besides this, the desire of a person to pursue his career deserves consideration since that desire kindles constant thinking in him  leading him to show devotion in his work which ultimately results in the establishment of  TQM - Total Quality Management.  Desire sets in a person only due to constant exposure to reading,  listening and thinking about a particular matter and if this attitude raises his status in all dimensions, more than his educational qualifications, he would be considered as an asset.  Moreover, the desire in him in the initial stages would be transformed into an aspiration or longing or craving or yearning or passion in himself,  which will in turn be of such a nature that he cannot be a mute spectator when actions are taking place and he would be impelled to contribute his wisdom.  Hence, prescription of 'Desirable Qualifications' may be accepted in its true letter and spirit in connection with the performance of an action.

Adherence to Faith

Being born as a human and endowed with the power of discernment, the brain, mind and the intellect all put together exercising this power, various actions are performed at various points of time depending on the expediency or exigency to perform such actions. At the base of all actions what should exist in a person is an unswerving faith in the achievement of the object for which actions will follow.  Faith is, therefore, a self belief which should be set by a person for himself.  Faith takes in its stride conviction in connection with the performance of an act, trust when an action is done in relation to another, an assurance given to another to carry out an obligation, loyalty in the context of an employment under another and a belief in carrying out that action.  Hence, faith varies in its dimensions depending on the nature of the action.to be performed.  Such being the inherent quality of the term its base is traceable ultimately to every action and as a consequence the requirement of its existence cannot be discarded..  On the other hand, absence of faith will not  enable an action to fructify besides such absence would create suspicion, distrust, infidelity and disloyalty.  It is, therefore, said that one must have a faith in oneself initially before embarking on an action.  This manner of possession of faith must be developed and it is a possibility if positive thoughts are entertained and positive steps are taken for translating such thoughts into actions.  Entertainment of positive thoughts is also a  possibility provided one desires to adopt fair and square means to perform actions.. Adherence to the precept of faith, therefore, becomes a must for anyone. as it only reflects the substantive part of the action..  .  .

Development of Good will

Every person is endowed with various kinds of ' rights ' since birth and in Law even a child en ventre sa mere - in the mother's womb - has been conferred with rights.  Generally, ' rights ' mean authority to do an act or to make a claim over something and as a consequence duties also usher in commensurate with rights.  In an action performed  rights and duties play  a main role and thus the performer creates a good will of his own towards such actions.  ' Good will ' creates friendliness, amiability, affection, esteem and zeal as opposed to ill will, malice, malignity, spite and hatred.  When good will is created it becomes a property of his own, although intangible in nature.  It is this sort of right that will enable him to continue his deeds in ensuing activities which will in turn escalate the value of good will further and further.  'Good will', when used in legal parlance, relates to the reputation built over a business activity, more particularly with reference to the name of the banner under which the activity was carried.  So when a business entity is transferred consideration becomes a requisite for the good will also, the same being treated as rights over an intangible property which has a value of its own.  Development of good will, therefore, becomes a must in every action.  While 'Man of Action' is a good will with reference to the personality of the individual concerned, good will as regards 'actions' may also be created if such actions do not tend to cause harm, embarrassment or cause injury to others.  This manner of creating 'good will action' is a possibility if actions are directed to produce common good and welfare and such actions also being humane in nature and not opposed to morals.  It is, therefore, incumbent on every person to contemplate creation of good will in every action, which will sustain throughout the lifetime of a person and which will in turn bring fame and name.  It  would, as a consequence,  be fit and proper to follow this precept of good will in one's life time to inure for the posterity to follow.. .  .

Receipt of knowledge

' Knowledge is Power' is an age old proverb.  But what knowledge, where from it comes, when it reaches and how and in what manner it confers benefits/detriment are all questions which are not thought of in an orderly or regulated manner by many.  An analysis, in this context, about knowledge, mind and intellect may reveal some answers.  'Knowledge' refers to learning, scholarship, wisdom, erudition, intelligence, comprehension ,and attainments as opposed to ignorance, illiteracy, misconception, unfamiliarity or inexperience.  On the other hand the term 'mind' refers to brain, reason, sense, spirit, understanding and 'intellect' denotes mind with reference to its rational powers or the thinking processes.  On a consideration of the semantics referred to the terms, they reveal, in the first instance, that learning is a prelude to the acquisition of knowledge .  'Learning' of a discipline or an art, therefore, is to be made in a sincere and devoted manner which will in turn lead to scholarship, wisdom etc.  Further, learning processes that may suit a person depending on his aptitude is to be pursued.  In some instances some persons may acquire knowledge through either observation or experience or by way of transfer from some other person.  It may be pertinent to point out that the age of a person is not in any way a hindrance factor to acquire knowledge.  Once knowledge is acquired in a field in any manner such person must strive to improve that knowledge in the manner which he may deem fit so as to create a niche for himself in that field.  It is  this requisite that develops his mind to stand to reason, sense, spirit and understanding and thus his knowledge becomes a value based one  This state of mind of a person in turn triggers the thinking processes and rational powers.  This analysis, therefore, shows that good and value based knowledge comes through learning process from the initial stages of life and continues till the end, such knowledge reaching a person from all sources as said in RIG VEDA and such knowledge further conferring lasting benefit not only to that person but also to the society at large.  Since knowledge is said to be a power setting in a person that power will enable him to develop 'intellectualism' - a doctrine which derives all knowledge from pure reason and which should be hall mark of a culture of that intellectual person. .

Refinement in action

Every one ushers in this world based on the past Karmas - an aphorism which is generally accepted.  While this may be true, man, in quest of,  his livelihood, right from his birth, grows stage by stage and in that processes many actions are to be performed. The actions that may be performed would only depend on his state - physical and mental and that state being defined by his age.  Actions, that may be performed, therefore, may not be a refined one in the initial state of the age.  This aspect of growth applies to all actions - be it play,  education, career, or social relationships.  Actions that may not be refined in the initial stages will not remain as such throughout one's life as any person would have the desire to hone his skills as and when he grows.  ' Refinement ' as a precept to be adhered to refers to elegance, culture, breeding, politeness, delicacy in contradistinction with vulgarity, barbarism, brutality, rudeness ans savagery.  Refined actions, being such, and variance of actions taking place in a variety of circumstances call upon a person to make improvements over his actions everyday.  This is a possibility if one constantly thinks that ultimately he must be considered to be a 'man of action' - a practical person, one who translates theories or ideas in action - by the society at large during his lifetime and further if the actions confer beneficial measures to the society at large even after his lifetime.  'Wisdom', that sets in a person should, therefore, be utilized in all spheres of activity.  Refinement of  action is, therefore, a gradual process in one's life and one should consequentially desire to attain this graduation level.  This reach is not impossible provided sterling character and conduct coupled with foresight and wisdom and further buttressed by a diligent attitudes combined with steadfast and value based ethics and etiquettes attendant with just actions.  It is said that 'All the actions of the Just smell sweet and blossom in the dust'..   .

Outlook of an Action

Day in and day out many actions are performed depending on the state in which one is placed.  Such actions may be dependent or independent or inter-dependent.  These facets of action will vary depending on the need to perform such an action and the results to be obtained therefrom.  Therefore, an outlook towards an action and its performance is to be developed right from the inception of such action.  A vigilant watch, therefore, is essential in the context of an action and its performance.  Besides looking at the prospects of an action and its result it should be one's endeavor to keep a watch over the action in order that the action will yield result and the result is said to be a sustained one.  The term 'sustain' is now being used in all spheres of activity with a great emphasis since the actions performed in the present day and the results produced turn out to be ephemeral un nature.  This means that decisions taken to perform an action and further performance done therefor are only thought of without any outlook to the future.  This term 'sustain' remained to be the watch word for everyone in the earlier days and it is only because of the adherence to  this precept of  'sustained'outlook  in every activity prevailed and this attitude has therefore contributed to the present day living.  It is said that the water used now is 'drops of water' saved by somebody.  Today much is also talked about environmental degradation because present day activities are not associated with the age-old precept of 'sustained development' or 'sustained progress'.  If   this style of outlook is pursued posterity may not even pardon the present day generation. Hence, infusion of an element of sustainability in every action remains to be the need of the hour and a pledge in this direction is to be set in the minds of performers of all actions.. .

Concerted Action and Harmonious Effect

An action performed may be individualistic or concerted as the situations warrant.  So far as the individualistic action is concerned he or she will have to bear the results of the same.  But when an action becomes concerted such action calls for a different approach.  An action may be a concerted one and it is said to arise from different angles.  They may be:
(i)  Action by a group of persons and all such persons act in unison - in the context of contributing welfare measures
ii)  Action of the mind and the body - in the context of group singing or chanting hymns etc.
(iii)  Action performed by two minds acting in combination - in the context of creating a social relationship
(iv)  Action by a mentor to raise the level of the intellect of his disciple - in the context of education.
The above instances are only a sample and the list to perform concerted actions are not exhaustive.  But, what this precept envisages is union of minds/actions so that that concerted action would be resulting in harmony - meaning negation of future conflicts to the best possible extent and deriving maximum satisfaction..
An action is said to be harmonious in nature if that action brings forth satisfaction and happiness at the end of such action.  It is only towards this end, everyone strives in his/her daily walk of life irrespective of caste, creed, color and sex.  But what may/should remain at the end of the day is not forethought in the start of the day, as a result harmony or harmonious relationship do not set in.  This end may be avoided if the aphorism ' As we sow, so we reap ' is put in one's mental stream when the day starts viz., when SATTVICK GUNA is at its peak.  If not, at least, introspection may be made at the end of the day to avoid negative recurrences of the previous day in the days to come.
An action of men, when concerted is also required to create harmony in life, which would only avoid conflicts and bring forth maximum happiness to maximum numbers. - This being the goal for a person blessed to be born as a human being...

Discretionary Decision

Decision making, as an art,  is to be practiced   in one's life.  At various levels of activity many actions call for   decision making in order to give a smooth sail  to such actions.  Actions being variegated in nature, decisions made would also vary and call for implementation of such decision. as the ends may require.  Hence, when decisions are made, the discretionary faculty present in the human system should be given a full play..  ' Discretion  cannotes prudential forethought, foresight, and caution  as opposed to rashness or recklessness..  This element of discretion  if infused into a decision  making process will make such decisions not only capable of enforcement but also being acceptable to all concerned.  But to use this discretion one must endeavor to consider all the pros and cons that may arise and which may be connected with such decision making as otherwise the decision may turn out to be capricious in nature.  More often than not, there is every likelihood of arbitrariness  setting in when one is confronted with the decision making process and hence discretion that may be exercised must be based on the principles of natural justice , sound policy and fair play.  Above all, when discretion is to be exercised compulsions may come as an hindrance factor and such compulsions may be met with apt  use of the discretion vested in a person.  It would, therefore, be fit and proper, that the precept of discretion is adhered to at all times to create sustainable decisions.   .

' Means ' and ' Ends '

Every person based on his status or state would always be driven to seek an instrumentality or system or means to achieve an end to his satisfaction.  Hence such person has to devise an instrumentality of his own or to adhere to an already existing system.  In this regard, a person may make modifications or alterations to the existing system, if such modifications are plausible and permissible and facile without any detriment  to the existing system.  Therefore, what a person desires is only end or salvation (generic meaning of 'end' to be given)  As such, every person strives to endeavor to create 'means' to achieve an 'end'.

The aforesaid manner of creating 'means' to achieve the desired 'ends' may be acceptable so long as one has the wherewithal 'to earn and live'.  But, as and when days pass by and when a person comes to his 'rainy days' his 'ends' in earlier life would undergo a perceptible change  impelling him to seek 'salvation' - 'saving a man from the power and penalty pf sin'.  For this purpose, it would be fit and proper to follow the 'means' already established by our earlier preceptors after undergoing trials and tribulations without any modifications  as the earlier preceptors have attained salvation.  When such precedents exist the modern generation  on becoming  elders  need not strive to create any other specialized ' means '.aThe reasons for this follow up are two -fold:: one that  the time factor involved to find out ' means'  being short and secondly the know-how required to create such means are also being not as facile as it may be thought of.  Therefore, what is needed to attain 'salvation' is unswerving and steadfast devotion to the  ALL POWERFUL WHO EVER REMAINS to be the 'instrumentality or means and also the person to be reached'  by following the guidelines already               handed down by the earlier preceptors.  This only means that ' means ' already exist to achieve salvation - liberation from sin and attaining eternal happiness since after all ' end '  denotes a point of 'NO RETURN'...       ..

Art of practice of Perception

Any action done by a person is viewed by the performer from one angle and viewed by others, who may come to know of the same, from a different angle.  The reasons are not far to seek since an act of perception would only mean  discernment of an action done by a person  and such action of discernment leading to a judgement.  Therefore, judgment that may be given by a person would be based from the angle of perception pursued.by that person.  In fact when such discernment takes place it reflects the faculty of reasoning of that person.  Perception, as a precept, should, therefore, be approached with a great degree of caution.  When what is perceived by others is also responded such responses would reflect their status and state of mind present at the time of perception and such reflection may be palatable or not to the initial performer. In such instances, no blame can be cast on the person who has responded and it should be accepted as ' his approach of discernment '.  It would, therefore, be fit and proper for the initial performer to develop a fortitude of mind to accept the views of the respondent.  This fortitude of mind can be built up easily when one develops a positive attitude with no expectations from any quarters. .  .
