READINESS TO ACCEPT THE PRESENT LOSS

In legal parlance the concept of 'Damages' play a significant role conveying the idea that a Civil Court of Law could only redress a wrong occasioned to a person by awarding damages to the person who suffered the loss at the instance of another.  Infact, besides Damages, other remedies are also available in special statutes applicable to the case.  However, the general remedy of Damages is generally resorted to , the rationale of it being that a wrong done to a person is to be off-set to the extent to which money could do and this remains to be a salutory principle.                                                                                                                        .                     ' Damages' belong to yte class of remedies in relation to a loss sustained by a person.  Loss may be a present loss or a loss occasioning in future.  The present loss points out an immediate or instant loss experienced while loss in future represents that loss which may occasion later.  The present loss, being experieced is to be faced and accepted with foresight instead of facing a greater degree of loss consequent to non-acceptance based on untenable and illogical conclusions.  Many disputes or differences would best be avoided or resolved if this approach to accept the present loss is adopted.  But, in practice, this attitude of preparedness and readiness to accept the present loss is not adopted with the required wisdom that it would be worth the bargain and  at the same time prevent the relationship becoming sour and strained further and  further.
Non-acceptance of the present loss, which is visible and experienced right at the moment    . would only highlight the presence of egoism, as the term ego only signifies EJECTION OF GOOD OUT of the minds of a person on account of visualing a mirage - a non-existent one.  It is, therefore, fit and proper to accept what is visibly and instantly experienced rather than face a great amount of loss and suffer to a great degree later.  Even when Damages are awarded by a Court of Law, the principle of 'compensatory' outlook is only pursued and sometimes this outlook may not provide equivalent and satisfying result in the sense in which the sufferer may desire, since much water would have flowed down under the bridge by that time  Hence, readiness to accept the present loss may be developed as a quality to be pusued.

LIMITATIONS AND ACTIONS

All humans born in this world shape their life depending on the pedigree to which they belong, besides the environs to which they get exposed.  It is only in this manner every person goes through in his life cycle, from infant to old age.  During all these phases of life every person acquires many traits which speak about his character and identity.
The birth and the life cycle of a person calls for actions from that person depending on age, stature, learnings, aptitude towards select activities and so on.  Although till the adulthood actions made in any mannner may be tolerated and accepted, the same treatment may not be meted out to the actions performed during adulthood. and thereafter.  The reason for this approach is that,  on becoming an adult,  a person is expected to understand the rationale of his actions.  Therefore, if any action performed  in the phase of the adulthood goes beyond the limits, the said action may be found wanting or excess in some respect or other.
Limits or limitations with referece to an action partake the nature of a restraint or condition or shortcoming.  Every person, in the course of performing an activity,  would be engulfed by or all of these facets stated.   Before embarking on an action every person should bear in mind that the various facets with their attendants would come into being not because he likes the same but operate in himself,  being born as an individual.  As such, every person while conceiving an idea,  should think of its limitations and the limitations set in himself and then only proceed to transalate them into action.  If this principle is not adhered to, the performance is bound to hurt the feelings of others, which should be avoided. It may be remembered by every person  that once liberty does not end where the other man's nose begins.  . .

PROPAGATION OF KNOWLEDGE

"Knowledge comes from all sides " says Rig Veda>  In general parlance,  knowledge refers to the ideas possessed by a person .  The ideas so possessed do not dawn overnight, but is only a result of acquisition of the same over a period of time.  Further, the ideas acquired must have been developed further depending on the extent to which a person has honed his skills from time to time.  It is everyone's desire to acquire knowledge on all fronts and to what extent he had exposure and succeded would depend on his efforts.
Acquisition of knowledge, though remain as one's desire, is always subjected to one's inquisitiveness towards a particular discipline of study or activity as no single person can claim to be a master in all trades, leave alone the fact that  it is also an impossibility.  Infact, in the matter of doing any act there exists on every person a desire which is inbuilt with limitations.  It is only due to this inherent feature various specialists/experts become available in various fields of activity
Acquisition of knowledge is, therefore not the monopoly of any single individual and hence all persons have a right to get educated and imbibe knowledge according to their aptitude.  But knowledge acquired by a person, though utilised for his benefit, is not to be expected to be kept to himself but intended to be spread and explained to others when situations warrant, as otherwise knowledge acquired becomes meaningless.  It is only this idea that has been conveyed by Saint Thiruvalluvar in his 650th couplet stating 'THOSE WHO ARE NOT CAPABLE OF EXPLAINING TO OTHERS WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNT ARE LIKE A CLUSTER OF FLOWERS WHICH, THOUGH FULLY BLOWN, HAVE NO FRAGRANCE."  Propagation of knowledge must, therefore, be adopted as a precept by a person possessing knowledge.                                          .                        .

ADHERENCE TO DOCTRINNAIRE APPROACH

I have been initiated  to pen blogs by my son, who in his thirties, using his acumen and latest technology started his blog writing practice before me.  The impetus given by him was well received by me resulting in this 50th blog in a span of 10 months time.  I am sure that this practice set in me, thanks to my son, would enable me to contemplate further and further to roll out more blogs.in the days to come.

Thanks to the stimulus received, I have expressed my musings and I look back with consternation how the thoughts conceived were able to be transalated into action.  One reason that compels me to keep pace with this momentum is that long established principles and practices, preached and practised by our elders, continue to hold sway even in these days when the world has shrunk into media box..

Precepta and practices, relate to basic concepts and canons promulgated in relation to various disciplines of study and actions related thereto, has to be practised in view if its permanent values.  Such value added concepts become doctrines driving a person to think that it is best to adhere to those doctrines rather making a roving search for thoughts.  Any act done based on a doctrine set will not only hold good for that point of time but also for all future times, notwithstanding changes that may take place.  Even while doing research study on any subject a doctrinnaire approach is advocated as that approach will enable advanced research in the same study.  This doctrainnaire approach compared with Empirical research, stands on a higher permanent pedestal while Empirical Research would only last over a given period of time.  Infact Hindu scriptures or Bible or Quaran  convey only doctrines which have been conceived after deep deliberations holding good even till this day..  It would, therefore, fit and proper  to adhere to the precepts and practices evolved over a period of time and being made accessible at the click of the mouse.

IMPEDIMENTS AND PROGESS

Right from dawn to dusk every man is encountered with various activities in relation to his style of living, his approaches towards the objective to be acheved and towards other persons whom he may come across and last but not least his mind set to carry out the chosen activities.  The activities that may be required to be carried out may range from doing a simple and easy job to complete a big and complex business deal.  Therefore, there will be variances in the activities of various persons depending on the nature of business or profession or avocation of one's choice.
Performance of activities are intended to result in progress of the activities, much less to say completion of thesame, as it would be the wishful thinking of all prudent persons.  As no man desires to get an abortive result he would put in his head and heart in the activities performed by him.  This attitudinal approach is not only laudable but also a welcome one.
The performer, although  may make good approaches with foresight it should not be forgotten by him that impediments partaking the nature of an obstruction or hindrance or obstacle or difficulty or barrier may be confronted by him which he might not have envisaged.  At this juncture, with the objective steadfastly held in mind, he should not lose hope, vigour and courage and instead drive unto himself a force of challenge to attain the objective, although in a belated manner.  This attitude is to be cultivated since at these times of  arisal of impediments a person would be tempted to leave the task unfinished.  This tendency should not be developed as it is not a good augury for progress, though in exceptional cases the project itself should be shelved.  Impediments are antithesis for progress and hence ingenuity and God strength are to be required to complete the performance of an activity.

CONTROL OF SITUATIONS.

Situations, place wise or time wise, do arise as a result of interaction between any two or more persons or among group/s of persons to fulfiul an objective.  The authors for these situations are no others than the person/s or group/s and this act of interaction cannot be avoided if the given objective is to be fulfilled.  In other words, the authors referred here are but the architects of the situation/s and what they build constructively or otherwise would always depend on their outlook, consistency in approach made, a foresight atleast to a certain extent, an ardent desire to accomplish the objective and their intention to create sustsainable progress and development.  This aspect holds good for all kinds of actions in all kinds of relationships that my be endeavoured to be created.

.                   Mere situations, though cannot be avoided, will not yield any result unless the said situations are controlled by the authors themselves.  Control, in this context, would refer to the dexterous approaches made, possession of attitudes, adoption of persuasive tactics with reasoning ability and bearing patience snd perseverance qualities by the authors.  Any approach made expressly or iompliedly should not either directly or indirectly hurt the feelings/s of other/s in a group as if such a kind of hurt is caused there would not exist the possibility to fulfil the objective.  Any amount of regrets made later in this regard will not bring back the desired result and much less to say it may even boomerang on the person/s who were responsible for causing the hurt

The subject that is treated here is only intended to drive home the point that control of situations lies only in the hands of authors to become winners or losers in the game.                                                                                                                                                                                                       .

NEED FOR SECURITY

Every person feels that security should exist for him at all places and at all times so that at no point of time he would be exposed to any danger or harm or loss in any manner.  This is an acceptable proposition, by all means, as the degree to which there exists security it would be an index of peaceful existence, satisfying one of the basic  needs of a person.  Moreover, the presence of security would in turn lead to the establishment of a peaceful co-existence among various persons in a given society.
At times a person feels that a sense of insecurity has engulfed him or that he has been exposed to a sense of insecurity.  On all these occasions he would have no other go but to crave for security.  This situation, therefore, calls for attention from others who are otherwise normally placed and at the same breath requiring an analysis of the causes for the insecurity that had raised its heads only to avoid the recurrence later.
Generally, every person is secure in and unto himself if he does not have any enemy in any form.  The enemical status of a person adverted here is to be understood in relation to various activities done by him involving others.  If these activities reveal that an enemical status has come to stay, the others who have become enemies are to be met with and they be taught a lesson if they raise their heads in an unwarrranted manner  For instance,  when a law and order problem arises in a particular place the law enforcers have to act immediately and must endeavour to create a climate of security in that place. This only shows that insecurity, either to a person/s or to a given society would only arise based on certain causes and on certain occasions and hence the same has to be faced with fortitude of mind and courage.  Therefore, if security is already in existence, in anticipation of an insecrity situation that may arise, unless the anticipated one is capable of ascertainment at least to a certain degree as in the case of an impending riot or calamity, no other security can be thought of..  Hence any demand for security for security would be meaningless besides the same is also difficult to be provided to each and every person. . ..

ERADICATION OF SCARS

'A pen is mightier than sword' implies that  what is placed in writing - by express means - will create a higher  degree of impact than a physical injury inflicted with a sword.. This only means that imprints and impressions get formed in mind and as human nature is,  he shall be constrained to refer to or reflect on the said impression either voluntarily or involuntarily in a given situation. This factor, inbuilt in the human system, calls for an analysis of various ways to to erase or much less to say eradicate the scar/s that had found its entry earlier in that being.
An analysis said above, in the first instance, requires an examination of the scar/s that found its way.  This examination will definitely boil down to reveal that the scars had their entry only in the context of a relationship.  Further, such examination would also bring to light how the relationship had been created and how non-maintenance of that relationship had produced a telling effect.  All said and done, whether a scar has arisen out of a physical act  or out of expression of words, scar will remain a scar and initially  erasure of the same followed by its eradication is advocated  and this can be done only over a period of time when saubsequents events occur.  Till such time reverberations of the occurences of scar/s is bound to stay.
Time element, nodubt, is the best panecea for all the ills stated above. But what requires to be done is to take advantagew of the time element to conceive constructive thoughts for a phased eradication of the scar/s. In this regard, if harmonious relationships are desired to be established between two persons - either or the both had beeen inflicted with scar/s on an equal footing or dissimialr footing or one person alone had been affected while the other is not - a special BEAR AND FORBEAR attitude from the side of both the presons will be a fitting panecea.  After all an event of joy is bound to overshadow an event of sorrow and vice versa as this factor of one event  eclipsing the other is inherent in nature.  Hence the precept of rtime element is to be adhered to at all times.

RETURN EXPECTANCY

Any action performed is intended to satisfy himself and at times to satisfy others.  The action done will be in relation to a visit  made to a friend's house or to a  neighbourhood or to participate in a competition or to attend a function and hence the list on these lines is not exhautive.  This only portends that no person can keep himself idle from dawn to dusk and some activity is expected from his side.

Performance of actions,  being necessary in daily life, are variegated in nature in the sense that a person may be a  sole performer or a performer in group depending on the activity pursued.  In all thes circumstances, the activity done could always be received and evaluated by others in their own sphere with their own norms.  By all means, this is an acceptable proposition and no blame need be made out if the performer feels that this is the performance which he has been destined to make at that hour and that has also been carried out by him.  But what should not be thought of  is a return expectancy, either in the same or similar vein done by him  or in any other form from that other.  This non expectancy alone would speak volumes about the  performer and  his performance thus establishing a character for himself in the eyes of others.  At the same time,  if expectancey happens, be it total or partial, the same must also be accepted and treated by the first performer in his own acceptable manner.  If expectancy is belied, the performer must also be prepared to accept that occurance also in its own stride.  It is only when this tendency is  cultivated there is every possibility of the perfiormer standing tall in the social set up and thus establish a separate identity for himself.

GRAVITY OF CONVERSATION

Persons engaged in various activities are to carrry out dialogue, discourse, speech -  all forming part of conversation at various points of time and at various places.  This scenerio cannot be dispensed with and if dispensed with the activity thought of cannot be carried on and if already acommenced in anticipation of conversation the same would come to a stanstil.

As the precept of conversation involves meeting  of two persons or more number of persons their minds, the language, adoption of mannerisms and the effectiveness infused in it, the results desired to be achieved assume significance.  Various techniques/tactics are to be employed by the persons engaged in the coinversation to exhibit their sincerity and purpose towards the end to be resorted to.  If the tactics adopted during coinversation  result in deception to the otherson/s consequences ensuing are to be met with and at that point of time there will be no room left to regret for the conversation earlier made.  No casual conversation or badinage will yield result and it could be termed only as the sports of an idle person who do not desire  any result.  Conversation, therefore, must be mature and gravitational in nature in the sense that seriousness, importance and significance are to be  attached to it especially when relationships are to be created  for sustenance of that relationships.

Many relationships, be it un the form of groups or between two individuals do no not last long time due to differences or disputes creating a telling effect.  It is only at this juncture person/s affected by the effects of their conversation ponder over the cause and to their consternation it is the non follow-up of gravitational conversation that  would be felt by them.

The precept of conversation, therefore, implies and calls for a not only a cautious approach with foresight but also adherence to a certsin degree of gravity and if this approach is  made it would be beneficial for a sustained relationship to emerge.

UNIQUENESS OF MEMORY STATE

Humans in the environment are endowed with an an organ - brain - in their body which registers all the actions performed.  This organ owes its genesis to the womb of the mother and since that time it starts its growth.  But, in certain cases due to various factors an expected normal growth does not happen and as a result congenital disablement sets in.  However, when the organ - brain takes its normal growth a normal person is born.  Eversince  the birth this noirmal person develops and the brain organ develops.  In its growth and functioning it performs a unique and special function of registering what are all seen, heard, read and understood in the phase of the normal life of that person.  Thisa special function is called as memory whcih takes the synonym of recollection, retrospection and reminiscence.

Memory, being related to the brain activity, is essential as  every person has to persom actions commensurate to what has been seen, heard, read and understood by him, thus establishing his identity.  If a person holds fast and retains in his memory all his actions he is said to possess a tenacious memory.  Memory being associated with the brain organ and that being ingrained in  the human body, the state of memory is capable of depleting its power of retention when a person grows old.  This is a natural phenomenon and a feature of senility is attributed and  to beaccepted as a fact.

When the above phenomenon happens in the old age,  a person forgets about what is seen, heard, read and understood in years before the old age and hence  a question arises whether this tendency is to be encouraged or not.  Normally this tendency should not be encouraged and remedial measures  are to be soiught.to overcome the same for good to happen to that person.  But, at the same time it would befitting if a person forgets that what are all seen, heard, read and understood by him are matters which are not worthy of retention as both functions of retention and loss of retention are performed by that portion of memory in the brain structure.  If this behavioural pattern is adopted all humans would get protection from physiological nd psychological disturbances and this state of cleanliness would enure a enjoyable life. .  .

TREATMENT OF THE RESULTS

The theory of cause and effect applies on all fronts of activity and the effects yielded are to be taken as 'the results' originated out of that  activity.  Result/s obtained may be expected and palatable or may not be expected but palatableor may be partially acceptable and partially not or may not be totally relishable at all to the performer of the activity.  If ecpected results flow joy of the performer knows no bounds and at the same time when the results are otherwise either a total sorrow sets in or it may give you mixture of joys and sorrows.   In theis contex the treatment of the effects arising out of the activity. referred assume significance.

The above phenomenon of  positive and negative results occassioning is only attributable to the theory of cause and effect..  It may be underlined here that in  the absence of cause there will be no effect.  The cause/s for an action are only designed by the person using his wisdom and the effect that follows must be taken by him in its stride.  Whether joy or sorrow arises out of an action  the same must be given a degree of equanimity as it is only then the room for introspection would arise in the case of a negative result.  On the other hand casting a blame on another for the negative results will not yield any tangible resut to move forward.  Introspection may also be made when joy occasions so that what comes out of introspection                     may help a person to innovate and further improve his action.  Everyone strives in his life forgetting that the theory of cause and effect is a cyclic phenomenon associated with any activity.  Therefore the statement that is made viz.,rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer should not be literally comprehended though in certain cases they do hasppen.

Hence what is to be borne in mind is that every activity involves the theory of cause and effect and an act should not be done withoiut a valid cause and if done the result would be abortive in nature. .  . .

ANALYSIS OF MERITS AND DEMERITS

Omnipotence has ordained in all humans a unique discretionary faculty, although present in varying degrees in various persons, to analyse the merits and demerits of any case or situation before arriving at a final decision lest any difficult position emerge later.  But analysis of any fact or situation or a case or a  circumstance is no less a difficult task for the decision maker. What is required for an analysis is the requirement of a parameter in consonance with the subject-matter and other related matters to be analysed.

In Judiciary, before pronouncing a decision Judges consider the facts,  the related evidence submitted by the parties and the principle of Law to be applied.  In the field of medicine, doctors consider the history of the patient, his family background, cause/ for the ailment, apply the diagnostic tools and arrive at a decision before starting the treatment...  Likewise every professionsal or any other person has to apply some parameter or other before arriving at a decision.  Though it may be facile for a professional to apply the parameter readily available from various sources, it becomes a difficult task to make an analysis in the context of creation of a social relationship which may last the life time of the persons entering the relationship.  All said and done, parameters like the family pedigree, the character built by the persons from their homes, school and the outlooks developed in later adoloscent and adult stages of life, the modes of approaches to various problems in various situations, consistency in the said approaches and the moral calibre of the persons may be considered as  the parameters for an analysis of the merits and demerits before the creation of such social relationship.  As a follow-up,  'weighing the probabilities' should be done which will give an indication as to the lasting relationship,

It may be emphasised here that the relationship created should not remain to be a mere relationship but leading to companionship for the rest of the lifetime.       .

TRANSFORMATION PHENEMONON

Transformation - change of state - is universal in nature and it occurs in all biotic and  abiotic bodies and such occurrances are part and parcel of their existence.  Biotic bodies cover humans, flora and fauns while abiotic bodies refer to metals, minerals and chemicals and the like.  It is only the modes of occurrances in these bodie4s that undergo variations, such variations being a sine quo nom, underlying the factor that  in the universe transformastion of these bodies are schematic and such schemes are to be accepted, adopted and adapted

Transformation in a biotic body happens naturally while in abiotic bodies it may occur naturally or when such bodies are treated.  Humans, flora and fauna undergo change of state natutally as every day passes, with the. peculiarity that humans, with their sixth faculty, comprehend the transformation in relation to their mental state, which give them joys and sorrows..This means that this alternate forms of results are bound to happen as there is no uninterrupted joy or uninterrupted sorrows. This being the fact of life, humans with their outlook are not gearing up themselves to accept this fact of life.  As far as flora and fauna are concerned they are also subjected to transformation like that of humans with the basic difference that discretionary facukty being absent in them there is no complaint from their quarters to be attended to.  Minerals, metals and chemicals existing also undergo change of state when they are treated by humans in their endeavour or when not treated change taking place in them according to the laws of nsture based on their iintrinsic qualities..

The above treatment of transformation phenomenon only points out that change from one state toanother is inevitable and the humans in the environment, who are also the custodians of flora and fauna, are expected to be prepared to accept, adopt and adapt the changing scenerio using their discretionary faculty in a befitting manner for the common good of all..

COMMISSIO9NS AND OMISSIONS

TO BE OR NOT TO BE or TO DO OR  NOT TO DO are phrases used in a philosophical sense especially when a person is deliberating on a project or a ventrue or to arive at a decision and the ways and means to accomplish that project or to become succesful in the venture or to reach an unmistakable decision.  Though these utterances may be pleasing to the maker, the listner or the recipient would have to treat these statements in the environs that compelled him to deliberate about the project or venture or the factors to be considered for arriving at decision. This only means that any activity would inovlove commissions and omissions in one way or the other.  In general parlance, the precept of Commission cannotes doing of an act in a positive manner and in the positive sense while Ommisssion refers to the absence of doing an act to avoid the result which  is in his thoughtsa.  Though these are the general attributes of the phrase used, in reality and in practice at times commission of an act is necessary to produce a negztive result while ommisssion is equally necessary to create a positive result.  Numerous instances exist on this score whern one';s life activities are scannned through.  Thus commissions and omissions done by a person cannot said  to be static always in the context of the results but only dependent on the environs in which thedoer of theact is placed and the circumstaces that enabled him to deliberate on the lines dawned on him.  It is, therefore, incumbent on the recipient of a statement to think aloud about the philosophical phrases referred..  However the underlying rationale of these phrases should not be undermined as  these phrases  carry the semantics that a person should not be indecisive when he is called upon to perform an act  and as such indecisuveness will not enable  a person to move forward to make a judicious decision.  All said and done, one does an act hoping against hope while taking a decision based on belief  and such belief is nothing but trut and truth alone held in mind..

COPING UP WITH SOLITUDE PROBLEMS

Every human being is born as an  individual and so also the animals.  Even if twins are born they are also born individual wise with separation of  seconds or minutes.  So every person is "solo" by himself or herself at birth. Dependency factor for  birth is not referred to here since the dependent factor called a "parent" is required for a birth.  An endeavor is made to highlight, how a "solo" being , when driven to a solitude stay, in the context of growing up in life, feels or enjoys or suffers in his stay aforesaid.

Although born 'sole' ,every person belongs to a family, family being a relative group/s forming the society at large.  Thus a person born as a 'sole' being has to form part of a family, the relative group and the society at large since existence at the time of birth alone cannot contribute to  the growth of that person.  It, therefore, becomes a norm for a person to be in the family, the relative group and in the society at large at different times for different purposes.  In the course of this phenomenon a person may be compelled to stay in solitude being away from the family, the relative group, or the society at large.  At these times, this person having been an  attached entity earlier, would be constrained to entertain feelings - of happiness or isolation or a mixture of  both.  This state of the person, though a compelling factor, gives him lot of time to do introspection on various fronts and which he must do as a precept to be followed.  It is only then the solitude stay may be met with strength and valour.  If happiness in solitude is made to cross the moral ethics dangers are bound to be met with.  On the other hand, if the stay in solitude is given importance that attitude itself would result in injury - both in terms of physiology and psychology.  Therefore, every person must create a mind set to defeat the problem of boredom, by engaging  himself in a manner acceptable to him and acceptable by the laws of life and it is towards this end one must strive.  If this attitude is developed solitude stay may turn out to be a pleasant stay.since dawn to dusk variations of stay in life emerge.  All said and done 'solo' being is to shed his mortal coil in a 'solo manner.
